On May 18, the latest data from the General Administration of Customs showed that in April 2024, China exported 560,000 vehicles, an increase of 31.2% year-on-year; from January to April, cumulative vehicle exports reached 1.88 million units, up 26% over the same period last year. In April 2024, China imported 50,000 vehicles, a decrease of 16.8% year-on-year; from January to April, cumulative vehicle imports totaled 210,000 units, down 7.6% compared to the same period last year.
